Umega Lettings specialises in domestic eco solutions. Our staff research the latest eco solutions that can help our customers reduce their negative impact on the environment and help implement them in the properties we manage.
We test and measure each of our eco solutions on our pilot properties and then roll them out to ensure that our properties continue to reduce their negative impact on the environment and remain at the forefront of residential eco development.
We implement some of our more practical eco solutions in our properties as part of our service. Others we offer to our customers to buy with an explanation how each of these solutions can help save customers money as well as helping our environment.
Some of the eco solutions listed here are available to tenants letting a property from Umega with the rest being available for anyone to buy in the Umega Store. Although we are first and foremost an excellent letting agent, we understand that we are in a position where we can help reduce the negative impact that we and our customers have on our environment.

Smart Monitor From: Current CostChanging Habits, Reducing Waste The Current Cost Home Display Unit ensures that you are always aware how much electricity you are using. It converts your electricity usage in to the financial cost along with benchmarking your use from the previous day. Although one of these meters will not directly reduce the amount of electricity you use, through making you constantly aware of your use it will help you see the impact of changes in your consumption behaviour. IntelliPanel From: OneClickThe IntelliPanel has been designed for the office (or home office) environment specifically to prevent wasting electricity to multiple computer peripherals that are left constantly powered on unnecessarily. By plugging the main computer into the main socket on the panel, it works by cutting power to all of the other sockets if the main computer powers off or goes to standby mode. Examples of computer peripherals are printers, scanners, monitors, external hard-drives, speakers and routers. When the main computer is switched back on again, all of the other peripherals are powered back up. Intelliplug From: OneClickChanging Habits, Reducing Waste The IntelliPlug works in much the same way as the IntelliPanel but is a solution for small office set ups or home users. Simmply plug the main computer unit from your desktop set up in to the Master socket (on the top) of the IntelliPlug and plug your peripherals in to the surrounding sockets. The surrounding sockets (used for printers, routers, monitors or speakers) will be powered on or off depending on whether the main unit is on. So when you switch on or shut down your PC or Mac as normal, all of your other peripherals will do the same saving you money and reducing the amount of carbon emitted into our atmosphere caused by the energy wasted by leaving them powered up unnecessarily.
